City2City Cowboys Participation Disclaimer
By participating in any City2City Cowboys program, event, lesson, camp, trail ride, volunteer activity, or community gathering, participants (or their parent/legal guardian if under 18 years of age) acknowledge and agree to the following:
Participation in horseback riding, livestock handling, outdoor recreation, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with animals, changing terrain, weather conditions, equipment failure, and the actions of other participants. Although City2City Cowboys takes reasonable precautions to provide a safe environment through trained staff, appropriate supervision, and established safety practices, accidents and injuries may still occur.
Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to follow all instructions, safety rules, and guidance provided by City2City Cowboys staff, instructors, volunteers, and event personnel. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the activity without refund.
Participants are responsible for informing City2City Cowboys of any medical conditions, allergies, physical limitations, or other circumstances that may affect their ability to safely participate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, City2City Cowboys, its officers, directors, instructors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, partners, property owners, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in any program or event, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
By registering for or participating in a City2City Cowboys activity, participants (or their parent/legal guardian) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and voluntarily accept the risks associated with participation. They further grant permission for City2City Cowboys to use photographs and video footage taken during programs and events for educational, promotional, marketing, and social media purposes unless a written opt-out request is submitted before participation.
If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete the registration and consent on the participant's behalf.
